A
1979 graduate of Bay High School, Jack
Griffiths is the new head coach of the Bay High Women’s
Varsity Soccer Team. Last year, Jack coached Bay’s JV team to a 12-2-2 record
and brings more than 16 years of soccer coaching experience,
the previous eight years as a coach with the Excalibur Premier Soccer Club.
Jack was on the board of the North Olmsted Soccer Organization
when it formed Excalibur in the mid 80s and led the club’s
restructuring of operations in 2000 where he selected the new operator,
served as one of the original coaches and most recently
coached the U-10 and U-19 girls teams.
Jack has coached at all age groups and brings a unique ability
to break the game down and train student athletes on both
the proper techniques and tactics, allowing them to advance
and improve at the high school level. Outside of coaching,
you can also see Jack walking the streets of Bay
with his two dogs – a Bernese Mountain Dog and Newfoundland.

Kyle DeWees, a graduate of Bay High School ('00), joins the Bay High Women's Soccer program
as the Junior Varsity coach and will also be assisting with the JV Reserve and Varsity teams.
This is Kyle's first year coaching at the high school level, but he comes to the Bay program
with more than four years of coaching experience at the club level. Kyle gained his first
coaching experience with the Worthington Crew Juniors Club while attending college in Columbus, OH.
More recently, he had the opportunity to coach with the Cleveland Kickers, working with the U14,
U15, U16 and U18 boys teams. In addition to coaching soccer, Kyle still enjoys playing both indoors
and outdoors. When he isn't on the soccer field, he also enjoys participating in other sports,
cooking and playing with his dog.

A true product of the Bay Village Soccer program, Bryan Eaton
grew-up in Bay, played in-house and was part of the Bay Blizzard travel team.
Bryan earned three letters while playing soccer at Bay High and was awarded the Jim House
Player of the Year award following his senior season. He went on to attend Mount Union College
where he played for four years and earned three letters. As a senior, Bryan was recognized as
Mount Union’s Defender of the Year and recently graduated with a B.A. in
Physical Education & Health with a minor in Multi-aged education. He also served as
Mount Union’s assistant women's coach in the Spring of 2008. Bryan currently splits his time
between substitute teaching within the Bay Schools and working for the City of Bay Village. |

Bill Jordan continues as an assistant varsity coach in 2008. He will coach the
JV Reserve Team and assist with the Varsity and JV squads. His knowledge of the game
and ability to convey that knowledge to student athletes makes Bill an indispensable asset
to the program. |
